What is the Blackberry Jamboree?
It is a benefit for the South Benton Food Pantry in Monroe, Oregon.
We’ll be demonstrating how to make blackberry jam, listening to live music, sharing a potluck, eating snow cones from the Monroe Scouts and a lot more.

Get ready to make some delicious blackberry jam and support the Food Pantry! We’re kicking off our berry collection throughout August. Your fresh berry donations will help us make jars of jam to sell, with all proceeds directly benefiting vital Food Pantry services.
Come to the Jamboree and watch a demonstration of our jam-making process. We’ll be preparing jars of jam to sell right before your eyes!
The jam-making demonstration starts at 5:30 PM inside the Kepi Nak-Nak Commons kitchen.

You can drop off your berry donations all through August. And here’s a sweet deal: you can even bring berries as your entrance fee to the Jamboree, in lieu of the $5 charge!

It’s a potluck! We’ll be serving up burgers and hot dogs. Please bring a side dish to share, or as an alternative, bring 2-3 cans of food to donate to our local food pantry. Boss Hawg BBQ is providing side dishes.
Get ready for some fun! Party Perfections Oregon will be on site, providing awesome face painting. Our local scout troop will be making delicious snow cones, and you can challenge your friends to a game of cornhole. There will be something for everyone!
Don’t forget to bring your picnic gear! We recommend bringing blankets or chairs, along with any plates, napkins, utensils, and cups you’ll need.
